DCE, Marty, Jake, Walker.
Maybe the coach can drop one or two of them to show it's not acceptable but not Des.

Jake's looked like that for about 3 seasons now .
Notice how his trademark tackling style is basically non existent anymore and he's become just another shirt grabber... It's really sad... Love the bloke, wanna see that hard running, hard hitting Jake of old, not this shirt grabbing, wannabe 5/8 we've got now

I know it’s rough to blame a winger when you’re getting pumped, but can we move on from Saab. He was too deep for the ball Walker threw that went over the sideline. His misreads in defense have led to two tries. Finally, he got out jumped on a cross field kick by a winger half his height. Surely Tuipulotu, Funa, Harper are better options.

100 % on Walker that one, 3rd tackle and s#it pass........

Panthers 22 missed tackles....

IF! We keep cust on and hold onto the ball...... can we win? We looked better as the game went on. If kikau doesn't come back then burton has no bodyguard. Send suli his was constantly.. get him 1 on 1 and foran needs to get walker 1 on 1 with momorovskii. Lots of weaknesses in the Panthers side we just need to build pressure and be patient

That's it. If we actually held onto the ball and built some pressure we would score some points. We need to make better reads in defence and turn them away and the game would be a lot closer. We do it too ourselves every week

One other semi-positive: Boyle hasn't looked terrible. Chased hard in defence when Saab got turned inside out, playing the ball quickly. Nothing great, but I'll settle for not terrible these days.

Text book tackles are obsolete now, because you almost certainly have to give away a fresh set of six or let them straight up to immediately attack a defensive line that’s still backpedaling...

I agree with that.. there's just no sting in his hits anymore.. he doesn't bend the line anymore... He's basically soft now...
