Something must have happened between Elliott & Des, think Elliott has told him to go and get ****ed.

Clearly not wanted any longer.

As I’ve said before he’s no superstar but at least he’s an adequate defender at fullback.

Something that Sandwich seems to be all at sea with.

I expect Ponga to run absolute riot today , the score could be anything.

Would be interesting to know the reasoning why a Garrick - Funa full back and wing arrangement is preferred to an Elliot - Garrick one . Elliot still seemed to put in when he was relegated sometimes to Black Town last season so attitude did not seem to be an issue then. Has been reasonably solid this season , hard one to fathom but can only hope that Reuben can go well today .

Funa has played some at fullback and has done a good job there,smart and better athletically than Elliot(and Garrick),hope there is a last minute switch between he and Garrick.If not, I hope Garrick and the coaching staff have had a good look at where he needs to be defensively with his positioning and supporting the forwards in attack....With Suli back I would rather have Garrick outside him as they seem to have developed well together defensively.

I was just wondering the same thing about Funa to fullback. Only his 3rd game but he may spend some time at the back today.

Funa only played for a stint at full back in the 20 "s so would be a bit of a step up to i st grade pressures in contrast ,. Not that he still could adapt there but there are some high stakes for Manly today . Garrick at full back today and his effectiveness could be the the least of our problems if D C E "s kicking game and general play are off again in this critical game .

Keep Ponga out of the game with structured footy, and find the touch line on the last.

Ponga was unsighted last week, and then got fustrated, then the whole team imploded,and the Cows got the result.
