You know, with that penalty from the scrum ... I think part of the problem is that halves these days are so conditioned to feeding the scrum, then whoever is packing at lock is the one who pick up the ball and passes it that Croker simply didn't realise that without a lock, he needed to follow the ball and pick it up at the back old school style.

Does anyone know why the ref blew the differential penalty against Manly in front of their sticks? Sirro was in the back the scrum and picked up the ball as it came out, why penalise that? Happens in most games....

Omg finally those short runs from dce on opposition lines I’ve been talking about.

Garrick is a skilful player but he has an obvious weakness that rules him out as a fullback in the modern game. He gets totally destroyed on kick returns! It’s amazing the floggings he gets. Happens to him as a winger too but he knows how to finish really well to make up for it.
Fullback requires a helluva lot more than finishing and getting smashed mercilessly doesn’t help. Dufty is finally working out how to do it after a long long time.

why he gets smashed I just don’t know . Decent sized kid.Same as Parker. Hard to fathom.

Sirro was second row, we didn't have a lock.

DCE looks like he has a bit of mongrel in him after coming back from his binning. Saw him give a Knights player a bit of a fascial in a tackle just before that try too. Good to see. Now, if we could just bottle that mongrel and give a bit to Paseka

Garrick reminds me a bit of both David Ronson and Stuart Davis. Gets basically smashed every time he runs into the defensive line, but never shirks the responsibility. He's a willing worker.
