This game definitely won’t be as easy as everyone thinks , the Knights looked ok last week ( I’ll admit their opposition was poor ).

I predict a close score with Manly winning by no more than 4.

The footy ground is on land that was a farm called Willow Glen. That name sounds like it has to do with willow trees. I guess calling the ground Glen Willow made sense to someone. Glen Willow Stadium

Weather seems great in Mudgee - 22c and pretty sunny so I'm looking forward to an attractive game. The 2 big dangers in the Knights backline that worry me are Bradman Best and that Marzhew monster. If we are to lose today, those two will cause us a ton of trouble. Shut them down (somehow) and match them in the forwards and hopefully our superior kicking game gets it done for us. Go Manly

Knights have a pretty handy full back as well and will take some watching, not that much of a downgrade then Ponga . Think that D C E 's kicking game is going to have to be up to par for field position , hope that Cooper Johns can slot in well enough . Plenty of points in the side if they can get some momentum and with set plays . Hopefully not too jaded in defence after last weeks quite grueling game and can limit the Knights scoring opportunities . .just have to get on top and control the play as early as possible and try to stay that way

From watching his games this year ,I would suggest he is a better fullback than Ponga.

Looks like it'll be ideal weather for the game and we should get a reasonable win. A big score will help our F & A but not too big we may get carried away for next week. Looking forward to seeing Croker return, Cooper complementing DCE in the halves and Harper back making the most of his chance.

Agree, Mark - they actually look better without Ponga. Yes, the Raiders were crap, but I was really impressed with the Knights' defensive commitment in that game. Good line speed, good hits throughout the 80 minutes. The disruptions to our lineup won't help and we will need to be on our game.
