No idea how this game will go, so many upsets happening so far.
I'd love to see Manly win this via steely resolve and discipline to shut the eels out of it
(but I'd also accept a flaky 34-30 victory I guess!)
Go Manly!

I hope the players are not expecting a 40-point victory. It's wet as hell in Sydney, which will not be conducive to any team running riot. All we have to do is win, and we will have to work hard to get it.

If we win by 1, I'll be happy. If Tommy doesn't do a hammy in the first 15 minutes, I'll be happy.

My big worry is that the Eels might just start throwing the ball around, even in the wet. They have been written off all season and have nothing to lose, and if their passes stick, we could be in trouble. We do not defend second-phase play well at all, and if they get us on the back foot - especially if the ref is whistle happy - it will be heavy going.

Honestly , and I’m not just saying it for the obvious reason , this afternoon has , ambush , upset , written all over it.

Forget the Dollar Chaser issue , wet ( we don’t play well ) , against our biggest rival ( they would love nothing better ) , they are running last and haven’t won a game , and very sadly ( Dollar Chaser playing well or not ) we go very very poorly against the weakest sides ( been happening for years ).

Eels 16 Manly 10
