Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka has undergone surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The 27-year-old suffered the injury midway through the first half of Sunday night’s Round 3 victory over the Raiders.

Taniela is aiming to be available to play in Round 25 this season following a 16–20-week recovery period.

Tom Trbojevic is expected to miss about four weeks of football after injuring his knee in the Round 4 victory over Parramatta Eels at 4 Pines Park.

Scans have confirmed Tom has suffered minor damage to his medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

I think we’ve actually been pretty consistent. Wins against out of form opposition at home thanks in large part to some favourable refereeing, losses without Tom. We need a ref leg up tonight. Dragons look to have too much spark across the park.
