It's been almost a decade since I considered our team a gimme loss. Unfortunately that's us. One way or the other, we are losing tonight.

We lack the chemistry, personell, systems and attitude at present.

So back on topic. I have only two expectations tonight.

1) That we compete, and our forwards show the improvement in attitude and commitment that I have said they possess.

2) That when Killer leads the team out the entire crowd rise to their feet and give the legend the standing ovation he deserves. And I hope it doesn't stop until the ball is kicked.

Well done to those that predicted this. I don't get moving Walker from one position he is learning to another unfamiliar position - I just don't get it unless this is a test run for a DCE and Api combination with Barrett considering a more permanent shift.

I'm normally an optimist when it comes to Manly. And this is definitely one of those times when the siege mentality is needed.

But even that might not be enough against the reigning premiers tonight, even at Brookvale.

Here's hoping they do us proud either way. If we don't win tonight I just hope that its at least close.
