And that vision of Hess was WRONG and the person who posted it admitted they couldn’t pause the footage right at the point of the kick.I watched it several times over and it was far too close to make a decision clearly on whether he was onside/offside

Ok, let’s say I give you that one, if either or both of the other 2 contentious points are ruled correctly, I believe we win and that’s why I’m pissed at the whole thing, it just seems that we are not getting a fair rub of the green, week in week out when it comes to the officialdom, I can accept the occasional wrong call but mate we seem to be copping far to many and on 2 occasions it’s definitely cost us the game. That’s 4 points and it’s made our run towards playing in the finals somewhat harder than it should be, miss the finals by 2 points and how will you feel about it then? Thats not a personal crack at you, I’m just finding the whole thing bloody hard to cop.

That puts things into a lot clearer perspective, still not happy with the officialdom, but it certainly highlights the need to look inward and clean up our own mess, no wonder we fatigue out and make life hard for ourselves.

I can feel your pain, if the game at that point was in the balance either way, he probably would of put up his flag. But being the Cowboys needed 14pts in 7min, the temptation is there to give the losing team a leg up, I know this is wrong but this is how our game is being run this season...it's corrupted to the core !!

Glaring fact is the lack of set restarts we have received since Rd 5. Clearly an agenda driven set of stats stains us. Not just 1 or 2 but all refs.

The boys gave it more than a good crack for most of the game.

They scored more points against the Cowboys than any other team has recently, breaking their second half defensive record.

They didn't drop their heads or go into their shells when the Cowboys scored & instead backed up, kept attacking & scored more points in reply.

Alas I think their fitness is what let them down in the last 7 minutes but there were plenty of good signs for 73 minutes & I'm sure they'll take plenty of positives (& a good learning experience) out of that game.

This is a really good point. The NRL's rule changes have increased the length of the game time.

A really good footy team can work its butt off for 70:00 minutes on the game clock (85 minutes in real time) to build a match winning 16 or 20 point lead, but be ripped apart in the last 10 minutes and lose by a series of flukes, inattention and bad luck.
