Anyone else think that Jorge and siro have slight soreness and Des are just resting them to give waddell Elliot and JetSki some game time to keep them fit?

Rotation , we are going to see a lot of it !!

Both players are the next utility back and forward that will be chosen so game time is great.

We look healthy enough now but we play a high energy, high impact game . Im sure teams hate playing manly but it takes its toll internally as well.

i suspect plenty of players will see time this year

Has to be, right? If we were playing the Storm this week I'm sure they wouldn't have been rested. Shows Des is feeling pretty confident as he should be, but still doesn't settle my nerves - I HATE playing a team off a thrashing

Serious faces on boys. Need a win today. None of this Manly by 30 points, that's for some of us fans to go on about!

Hopefully we get use of the ball first so the refs can't give the broncs 5 x "six agains" straight away as expected.

Initially thought this but with a shortened season wins are even more important and I doubt Des would rest them if they were fully fit. I think they probably have niggling injuries but could probably play if needed. And on the other hand this in turn helps the rotation.

If I was at home tonight and without a ticket, I’d be standing on the footpath of the overpass at the southern end or up on the roadside to the North. I’ll be keeping an eye out for a few Coastie ‘Eagles supporters to be doing just that; same as the other week.

We looked a little tired last week.. probably due to the 5-day turn-around yet the eels got 9 days... still we came back and had a better 2nd half

Yeah my thoughts aswell.

2 tighter turnarounds so trying to avoid major injuries.. Siro you could see was ginger vs parra so prob best to rest up.

Elliot is on the wing, where I think he is best placed. I imagine Waddell won't play 80 at 12 and Jetski to slot in. Jetski plays his best footy at 12.

That's exciting news if Funa is to get a run. He has been a bit of a project player with us and his potential is sky high. If he plays I hope he has a blinder.
