Karma perhaps?… we’ve embarrassed them quite a few times in front of their bogan fans during Magic Rounds… that last second try to Wolfman in the corner is a favourite happy memory.

Imagine what the players think when they hear the coach say something like that. Will they go that extra inch to get the win when they know the coach is satisfied if the “process” is ok? It’s more corporate management mumbo jumbo that doesn’t belong in professional sport, which is dog eat dog, win at all costs. Can you imagine Fulton ever saying something like that? Why can’t he just say something like “we are here to win, and if we follow our processes etc etc I am confident we can do that”. To say you’re not interested in the result is unforgivable from an NRL coach.

I see the donkeys have only won at Brookie twice in the last 33 years and 5 times overall, that’s a pretty good record.

We’ll meet for the 52nd time with the Broncos 26 to 24 over us, one draw.

I still hate the idea we got flogged at Lang park by them in their first game, I think that game set the platform for me hate them ever since, we were the reigning premiers and red hot favourites, no one gave them a hope, perhaps no one told them, they spanked us 44 10, it was embarrassing.

I’ll be happy if we can keep the Brookie hoodoo going and avoid our 4th straight loss at home, might be a big ask one thinks, but history and the Brookie hoodoo might save us yet, here’s hoping.

Says he wants to, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they sit him or Carrigan. Can’t see both playing tomorrow, but they are desperate. I just don’t really see that team playing for Madge at all. We are a show, even with our patchwork side. And honestly Saab ain’t a huge loss. He plays a good game on occasion only.

Thank you for posting the Manly Head Coach Pre game presser

The opening two minutes of the presser was the most underwhelming , undermining and uninspiring I have ever heard from a Manly coach . After that I tuned out .
Because as a Proud supporter of our Great Manly club I was turned off .

So that I wasn't taking his comments out of context and reading about it third hand, Just to make sure that I heard it right, I watched this interview twice. Wow. Just wow ....... I can't believe he actually said some of the stuff he said in that interview. That comment will not age well at all and he sounded very much like an everyone gets a prize coach. I don't know if there is something else going on with his health but his body language is also not optimistic either.

Something isn't right I haven't heard a first grade coach say stuff like that before. He actually said " I never concern myself with the result" Maybe a junior league coach can get away with saying that because the focus is on getting the kids to have fun but not a first grade coach where winning is everything. He's paid to win. I guess if he's not concerned about the result it explains the very lack lustre performances this year. Maybe the contract extension took the pressure off him which is why he's not concerned? If / when he gets sacked from Manly I can't imagine he'll get another head coach Job in the NRL.

I think our problems re bigger than the coach so I'm sticking Seibold neutral solid for now but he's making it very hard to defend or support him. I wonder what happens to him if we have a few more bad losses over the next few weeks against teams on paper we should beat? Surely, the drums start beating....
