NSW TAB still has the Eagles at $1.67 to make the Top 8. Next is the Roosters at $2.75 and Panthers at $6.50. Sue may want to take an extra mortgage out on this one.

The reality is that the Tigers/Panthers clash will most likely go the way of the Tiges. A loss to the Storm will have them smarting and they have a home final on the line. The Tiges are in a great position as they will know the for and against target from the Storm/Cowboys clash, played on Saturday night, before their Sunday game - they may even rest players if the Cowboys win.

The real test will be the Roosters up against the Dogs on Sunday. Once again they will know late Saturday night whether they have to go all out or plan for Mad Monday. If we lose to the Raiders, and this is a good probability, then the reality is that season is gone for us.

I like it when the money says we are in with a big chance, but taking up more than one religion is looking very appealing this week. !pray:

Funnily enough I can see the Dogs lifting to put the Roosters out of the picture. There is no love lost between the two and in fact great hatred and the Dogs would get great satisfaction in keeping the Rorters out of the Semis.

It would be no consolation to us - but it wouldn't surprise me if it happened.

It is a big laugh. Both Roosters and Panthers are shorter odds than we are, around $41
