A Large rift indeed..............

Does that mean they won't let us sign any of the dud players again?

Hopefully it will happen quickly as rumours around we are close to signing Brent Naden from the tigers

FFS another rubbish singing if true
Where have you seen this? Seems like a move that makes 0 sense

Surely not. He makes Paulo look like a superstar.

I really dislike this signing but not too worried as he will only feature in NSW cup on minimum contract.
We need these types of signings to free up money for a few good forwards.

Used to be quite a bit of interchange of players between Manly and the Eels not that long ago and guess before that with Nth Syd . Bears but without too much additional [ Noise } so to speak
Quite a few ex Manly i st graders in the 80 's ended up at Balmain for whatever reason but was not reciprocal

It would be quite an ironic outcome if we picked up two brothers from the Tigers with huge potential after they recruited the Fainus!
The amount of stability we have in the squad now after moving on the Fainus, Schuster etc has me pretty convinced that they were more trouble than they were worth. Even if they turn out to be handy players, the dysfunction in the sides they are likely to play in means they will struggle to be competitive.

Reminds me of guys like Cody Walker, Latrell Mitchell, JAC etc. - good players but not worth the hassle.

Simon Booth, Russell Gartner, Steve Martin, Matt Nable, at least and Craig Field, John Hopoate, Terry Hill with the early Tigpies
