Thing with Parramatta is they only won (their 4) premierships when Jack Gibson was the coach, or his accolyte John Monie. A six season period (1981-86) in a club history now 65-odd years old. An outsider came in, ran things his way - up stumps and left and they eventually fell back into varying degrees of mediocrity. Not good enough (for their supporters) really.
