Manly supporters tour to Brisbane for the double header

Hi all,
We've (MWTS) been running a pre-game catch up for the Brisbane game for many years.
Back in the day.... Mark of course being a local was generally "front and centre" in terms of planning the event until he retired and "hit the road"
I worked with Mark on these events and for a few years now I've had an arrangement with the manager of the venue to give us exclusive access to a private function room at the LA Hotel (top of Caxton St) and he's been great in looking after the group with food and beverage deals so the events have been very popular.
I'd anticipate that we will run another this year although I'll need to set the wheels in motion to check we'll still have access to the room etc.
Just to correct a couple of points written, the LA hotel didn't charge us for the room (there was an "up-front' fee of $5 per head charged as a donation to the MWRLFC - The Football Club) We did from time to time have access to tickets but these were for the corner section and it's unlikely we will have them for this season so people will need to sort their own tickets, travel plans and hotels etc.
Happy to be involved with this and re-stablish contact with the manager at the LA if there is enough interest from the people going to the game?

Yeah I've bought 9 tickets in the Northern stand. Much better up there.

This'll be my 4th double header, always go with my mate who's a Bronco season member so get good seats. But jeez, it's wearing me down getting flooged and ridiculed everytime lol. The day the win comes will be worth it

Learnt my lesson from last year. Don't leave it too late (I left it with two weeks to go and there was nothing left). I opted for the shiit designated Manly seats, in the last row, I'd rather watch and hear the reaction of Manly supporters in a pack in front of me.The site of Manly supporters going ape shiit when we score against the Broncos is euphoric, especially if we win. We might be small in numbers, but we have voices of thousands.

I had a choice and still bought in that section.

In days gone by it was Bay 317, crap seats, best atmosphere by a country mile.

I'll record the game and if we win watch it again to see the close ups and try's.

I go to a game to be with Manly supporters , not ****ing Donkey wankers!!!
