Manly - Storm rematch - in Perth?

If they would hurry up and confirm if the game will be on I would book the cheap flights, never been to WA before and would prob do 4 or 5 days and have a squiz around whilst there.

Sounds like an excellent deal.

It's not about the money WAMF. It's about the principle.

We could play the GC in Perth and most people from here who'd go to see Melbourne would still go.

Would it really make a difference to Perth people which teams are playing?

Hi Duff,
It may have something to do with scheduling.

NIB stadium is home to a couple of sporting teams + hosts concerts and the like.
It may have just been that the round 15 dates, suited everyone?
I would doubt that the WA govt stipulated that the game must be against Melbourne.
In fact, I'm sure they didn't. This deal was probably in the works last year before anyone knew who the Sea Eagles would be playing on that date.
Plausible?
