Can’t see anything working with these players would have made a big difference if walker & koroisau weren’t injured.Even the last few games we’ve won it was only cause the oppositions error rate was high.

Freeze the video at every mistake (plenty of stoppages against the Roosters) Make the player/players involved stand up and look at their team mates and explain wtf they were thinking!!

Honesty sessions have to make you feel guilty, embarrassed, ashamed!! But i think these days it will be all back pats and encouragement words and no one will grasp how serious this problem is.

As supporters we are extremely proud of never having the spoon. This team (apart from a handful of players) don’t give a rats about 1st, 8th or last. The reason is there is NO ONE left anywhere in the squad (players or coaches) that understands anything about our past achievements and how hard you have to work in the Sea Eagles jersey to be a winner. There are plenty out there that want to see us fail and that was the motivation that Manly used to be the best. Shoe string budgets etc doesn’t cut it because Des (not saying he is the answer) probably had less resources than what the team has now but found how to get the most out of the players. That when that jersey goes on you represent everything the club, past and present, represents and that when the going gets tough you dig deeper and smile the widest when you get to rub it into everyone outside the club.

What we are witnessing is just a hollow shell of what this club is all about. Injuries, salary cap, media etc are reasons that a team may not be performing at their potential. But you can not excuse pi$$ poor effort that was dished up on Sunday. That was humiliating considering the occasion.

Fans appreciate effort, even if you lose. Fans can’t cop no effort resulting in a heavy loss. Finals football was off the cards but the season isn’t done yet. Seems like the players are though.

TomW would have looked really bad poor kid out of his depth ..but even Dce looked bad.

3 years of rocky results with a top 6 finish probably hiding the truth last year. Forget results and look at form. We have had 2 winning streaks of any note in the last 3 years.

Last year early on, from week 4 - 9 ( im guessing but approx ) we looked tough and uncompromising. It was on the back of defence and nate myles was key, so was lussick. marty and jake made the pack tough and we hurt opposition.

Myles coming off tge bench was a leader and they followed. Now i know overall he was a bad purchase but if we really look at how the team played . That was the pinnacle. Lussick led, myles led and we pissed them both off. We now have no leader of note apart from jake.

Time erases memory and im sure ill cop the blah blah but i know what i saw. We have been a shadow ever since screwing with the team fabric and allowing a popularity contest to be the team guide

The club has to speak to the media. They would also have a video session every week regardless of the result

They get flogged...what else are they going to say? Imagine if they went with the "it was only one week" approach rather than hurting?

Haven’t they had a few sessions like this earlier in the year? Was it the tigers game they were booed off at half time and they had a similar session?
Penrith by plenty on Saturday especially as they had 50 put on them last week and will be fired up

For those that have a good memory like you, they would be aware that our team has had a few sessions like these earlier in the year by none other than the same coaching staff
This is nothing new though .....
You need changes for things to change .

He is our longest serving Sea eagle who has been with us to oversee all our Grand final wins.
There is enough life left in him to oversee more success
History is in our side feathered friend 😉

Is it like a confession. And whoever they tell these truths, can not tell anyone without violating a sacred vow . With that in mind we should read about it in the telegraph 8 minutes after it happens.

But seriously if it was a truth session i expect a bigger brawl than gladstone. I just dont think this many footy players could handle the real truth. I can not see a truth session being very good for morale in an envirinment with reporedly more cracks than a full moon party.

Do you think hastings was holding his own truth sessions and that got him on the outer with some players who didnt want to hear it. Just asking as It was always my gutty

You do understand that the NRL owns the game? And every club has obligations? In your world they would have come out and said "no comment"?

They have to speak to the media. It is not a choice.

Considering they got flogged on the weekend there is not much they could say (which is way the Panthers pretty much said the same thing).

Be hard on the club for the results but in an instance like this I am not sure what you expect
