Manly penalty loading - does it exist?

Anyone who heard Harragon on Triple M on Monday would have realised just what Manly has been up against for the 25 years that this guy was dominating refereeing. Manly apparently deliberately give away penalties to allow their defensive line to reset and have been doing so 'for years'. I almost choked on my after dinner mint!. Apart from revealing fully the extent of the guys stupidity, it was uttered with such ingrained prejudice that you could only wonder what affect this cretin has had on our fortunes over the years. Joey Johns responded with 'not true, not true'. but Harragon (like a lot of referees) has a personality disorder, a dumb hatred of our club, and is beyond reason. .

Prejudice is powerful, ubiquitous, and is almost 100% unconscious for most.

It seems that every fan has a similar view of how their team is penalised by the officials of the NRL. But Manly seem to be penalised a bit more than others according to your comments.

I wonder if a 'reputable' newspaper will take up the story?

I live in anticipation that the NRL will take a stand.
