This seriously questions Chad's contribution to the side, especially in comparison to Dunley. Although hooker is not a "running" role a good dummy half should be able to eat up the metres.

You would imagine a dunny half run in broken play would be at least 15 meters at somw stage of the match. Yet he only makes 15 per game????? These stood out like dogs balls to me too wheel.

What also stood out was Kites work load. You don't notice him so much, he just plugs away and does nothing special but he really is a work horse and a good addition to the side. I hope we can hang on to him for a while yet.

I think we signed Kite for 4 years so he will be around for the long term.

He signed for 4 years.

Chad made just 11 last week.
We cannot drop dunley because then we have no go forward from dummy half - an area that is highly exploited in todays game. Too much to give away.

This is why i think Willo can cover the position fine - leaving an extra forward on the bench.

It also shows that Kings first game was not that bad - people thought he did nothing in the second half so his metres were very good early to make a decent effort.

It shows the reason our pack is solid this year - We have 2 more forwards up there, last year it was Hecks, then wattas then king then daylight.

Meter makers - they must work for the council. Dunny half runners must have the Bali belly.
:p

Seriously, hookers should be great DH runners and I would expect good metres from them every game. If they can't do it they don't know their job.

He is not showing any improvement - that it was really worries me.

But be careful - last name is a ME hero.

true Disco, but he hasnt seen all that much game time as can also be seen by his tackling stats - his average is about half of last year and bar round 1 he hasnt topped 25. Note round 1 was when he started at hooker

I dont think you get any line break stats for when you score or the metres either. Most of monas breaks have resulted in tries last season and this season.

Disco Willo topped the tackle count in round 1 - i think he should be starting hooker as well with dunley to play the more aggresive role after the first 20.
