I was thinking about Maloney to Manly but thought he had a falling out with the Sharks management regarding pay. Considering Manly have just appointed former Sharks CEO Lyall Gorman CEO I can not see Maloney coming to Manly.

Of all the half options we've been linked to so far, my order of preference would be:

1 - Moylan
2 - Maloney
3 - Pearce

As much as Maloney would bring benefit with his goal kicking abilities his defence is as weak as pensioners shiit. So given we need to tighten this area to be more competitive in 2018 I'd rather have Pearce any day. + maloney is a tool and is moving for more coin. Last time I heard we didn't have much.. So I'd rather recruit a disgruntled player with an axe to grind rather than a mercenary looking for a pay cheque..

I like a yummy drummy. It was a thing at the tuck shop long before chicken nuggets were a thing. Basically a Y shaped bit of reformed chicken scrap but as the name suggested yummy and....actually I don't know how drummy it was.

Anyway I've just finished my second last day of work before I head to Wooli for ten weeks of (for me this is a bit different and a whole lot less effort) flathead and bream fishing and blue swimmer and mud crabbing. I'm so excited I've been pumping yabbies in my dreams.

Maloney supposedly wants more pay from the Sharks, as he thinks he's underpaid compared to some teammates. Therefore can't see how we could afford to meet his 'expectations'.

Me thinks Pearce is the more viable option (unless some other crazy alternative comes up).

So today we've had Moylan (again), Maloney, Elgey, Munster, along with Pearce all thrown up. Wonder what/who tomorrow brings!

Id rather pierce as a long term prospect. but would be happy with maloney for 2 years. he is a good player and would fit in well with the structures and kick goals
