Decided to venture back on here for a bit so 1st post for a while.
But be good if Lucus put in a bid for bring Northern Spirit back. Mind you would mean I would have to support both Sydney and Spirit.

Lucas Neill was also involved with the Sydney Rovers FC which didn't even kick off.

I can't see Neill ever coming back to play in the A-League, not an entirely bad decision either. He can bulk up his bank account by playing for obscene amounts of money in his twilight years then come home & retire. If he comes back to the A-League then not only does he make less money but his legacy will forever be tarnished as people remember him getting skinned in what is seen as an inferior league.

With all that said, I would absolutely take him at Sydney now if the opportunity arose.
