Personally I don't care about all the crap after the last 2 weeks.I am effing ecstatic about this season and yes I will be disappointed if we don't make the finals,but I am proud of this side no matter what.I feel we have possibly overachieved this season against all odds(but seriously that is who we are).We have had a freaking good season with so many highs mixed with a few lows,so many sides have more to complain about than us,and we are looking like a side on the up(no matter how many think we need to start again).I hope the latest rumours are just rumours but no matter what happens and no matter how pissed I may feel at the end of any given weekend I will be 100% behind this club.Yeah maybe people are not happy with current form but most of those people had this side written off before the season started and are now just coming back to have another shot(more power to you that is freedom of speech/opinion).Hate all you want,be negative,and I have no probs with expressing opinions,it is good to have passion and that is the ups and downs of being a supporter.I think we will turn it around,hopefully this weekend but if not then soon,I think and hope we will get there..

I hate to say it. But I think I am going the other way. I was Devo when 2v was dis honoured. I idle that bloke so much. And I really think he done a fantastic job. I am over the politics at Manly HQ.
I am just getting my confidence back, back that Bozo knows what month it is. I really don't care that we ain't going to win the comp this year. But seeing our club improve is a kpi I set. The season has been a good one. And I give Trent so much credit for that. And as a big 2v fan it's taken me a while, and plenty of wins and style of play, to just come around to Baz. Ive never thought Baz is our problem. And now when we just start being competitive. To have him off!

If management cut Baz. I am really getting feed up with Manly HQ. Either do it well or don't do it at all Penns.

I will never support anyone but Manly.

But if HQ can't sort their **** out. I'm over the current management. We can do better than this rubbish. **** off.

Every one on this site loves the club and that is why we are on here to express our passionate views .
Some on here don't like some officials others don't like some players and that is just how life is , BUT we all love our club and always will .

I love this club, best sporting club in the country: we have one of the smallest supporter bases yet boast a record second to none. We are hated by most and wear it as a badge of honour. And as far as general intellect and football knowledge goes we are way ahead of other clubs followers (compare our youth @Turbo1 snd @Harry Smith with the majority of young men their age). Living in the Blue Mountains, Manly supporters are a rare breed, but we share an unspoken bond much like the connection between two red heads. A knowledge that we are a superior club, we've never won a wooden spoon and we have collected at least one obligatory title each decade since the seventies. As far as finals are concerned we're going to be there, normal transmission is in full swing on the Northern Beaches.

Why would't I went St. Augustine's grew up and surfed Nth.Curly played for St.Augustine's coached Curl Curl Knights my old man was a life member and never missed a game when he was still around. Long live Manly.

Agree mate , we have had 2 bad losses back to back then we probably have to go back to the saints game in the first round as disappointing. Might be the odd one but wow theres been some rippers , Raiders twice golden point , sharks hammering , comeback wins against warriers and knights , gutsy wins against roosters and cows . So a couple of bad losses doesn't out weigh the year we have had thus far. And it ain't over yet.

Much to be pleased about and impressed with this season for the side and with their efforts and performances for most games this year. Hopefully they will bounce back tomorrow with a good outcome and then continue on in a positive and winning way for the remainder of the season . Great club , proud and excellent heritage , history and culture . Impressive premiership achievements and number of final"s appearances. Loyal and passionate supporters. Manly forever .

I'm always on the positive side, and why not. As pointed out above, premierships delivered in 5 successive decades, not a wooden spoon in sight, knowledgeable supporters with a great sense of humour, a fan forum that I don't need to lean on google translate to decipher, and fine young men like Harry and Turbo upholding the tradition of an intelligent, articulate and coherent fan base. Come to think of it, the club has more to be proud about than just the heritage of success.

Good thread.
Have personally hated the past 2 weeks, reason being - not the losses...but the effort.
In saying that, feel there will be a few more questions asked by seasons end and reckon the team has enough ammunition to not only answer....but scare a few of the more fancied rivals.
Also agree 100% the team has already left egg on many experts faces and given all us Silvertails, plenty of great moments.
