Lehi Hopoate

Thank you for posting feathered friend .
Great Hopoate Family Photo
Father John at 51 years of age has kept his body looking like a current NRL player .
Lehi looks to be the tallest of the Hopoate Men . He is also arguably the most talented
John Hopoate is Many things to all People including some great things like Being a Manly Grand final Winning Legend and a Loyal Farther who Loves his Boys and his Boys seem to love him back as much

With his new contract … maybe Lehi can spot the brothers with a Tshirt or two!

Just sayin’

With turbo averaging 15.2 games a year since 2015 there will be plenty of games for Lehi to play fullback, his best position.
Turbo will be 32 when Lehi contact is up, with his injury history Tom will slow down early and most likely move to centre or 5/8 depending on who we have.
If not before then Lehi will take his place.

It’s a guarantee that they’ll throw everything but the kitchen sink at him to replace Tedesco.

To be honest , unless it’s loyalty , I can’t see how we’ll keep him.

He’s not playing fullback whilst Tommy is there, so that adds to the reasoning to move.

And there’s no way with Turbo & Jake that we can afford him.

The only way I see it.

DCE is sold off to PNG
Turbo moves to 6
Brooks to 7
Lehi on his money plus DCE’s to fullback.

Cannot in any way see DCE still being here , along with Lehi.
Simple solution Mark…..let Jrbo & Brbo go!

Was surprised by his lack of speed on Friday… I thought he was getting the ball in some good positions but was not willing/able to use his speed to beat his winger and instead came back inside multiple times… the warriors don’t have the fastest wingers so I am assuming he was told not to get tackled close to the sideline (due to the size of the warriors wingers)…

I am positive Garrick would have made more of those opportunities and needs to be back on the wing… Lehi can use his ability to bust a tackle and his passing skills to put Garrick into space.. win/win…

Yes same here. That was one of the many surprises from Friday night. I know he has some toe but failed to put his foot down a number of times where he had that opportunity. Looked injured / reluctant to stretch out.

Yeah i mentioned that in another thread he is not overly quick, perhaps as he gets stronger he may put on some speed.
