Has anyone heard of this lake before? I saw it on Digg just then... crazy story. Instead of trying to retell it myself, I give you two links:

The Youtube link is a 5 minute, bandwidth sucking streaming video from the History Channel. To be honest, if I didn't see the video, I don't think I would have believed the Wikipedia link.
