He has not re-signed at the Knights as yet and has publicly discussed the challenge for positions at Newcastle next year with all their signings as a potential issue.

He looks a good prospect and has been performing nicely in the Knights resurgence the last few weeks. He could be worth a contract and an opportunity in our less than stable back row for next season.

Yeah I think Fitzgibbon is a player of good potential a real goer....BUT would be a big risk cause he's only played a handful of games. That said I'd reckon he will probably turn out to be decent player.

I'm thinking also we will go for more proven players in 2nd row so it looks unlikely to me - but there's worse youngsters around than this bloke IMO.

when you are 192cm tall, weigh 108kg but are mobile and athletic, you have the makings of a very good back rower.

He can run a good line and he gets through a lot of defence. I'd be keen to see what Baz could do to his game and of course how he would perform in a strong team.

Looks like he will develop into a very good backrower, definitely worth having a crack. Paired with Siro, our backrow would be big , mobile and capable of running dangerous lines on both edges. Also I would try and sign him to three years, could turn into a huge bargain.
