[Resurrected] Lachlan Croker

I don’t remember Cameron Smith being a physical defender but he was a very effective dummy half.
Cam Smith was from another Galaxy .
Cam Smith was an affective defender as well as an affective dummy half who made the opposition look like Dummies.

He sucked all the opposition Suckers in
with his talented bag of tricks
He made them all look like Teething Toddlers

One of the reasons why our attack has gone to sh*t. The guy is a statue. He offers no spark, no creativity, no speed, absolutely nothing from dummy half. Why has this club persisted with this mediocrity for so long I ask ??

Complete plonker. Started years ago as a very ordinary bottom 3 hooker…………
And has advanced to a ……………….. very ordinary bottom 3 hooker.

Another reason DCE leaving is awesome for us, break up the senior playing group click, which Croker is part of.

You are seeing the obvious feathered friend
Those that have eyes and common sense sees what you see
BUT......
Seibold obviously sees something that we do not see
Mestrov obviously sees something in Seibold we do not see
We all see the obvious that both Seibold and Mestrov dont see
What does the obvious that we all see mean ?
It means ....something that is clearly understood by every one except Seibold and Mestrov
It means that there is no further explanation or analysis as the meaning of obvious is evident to all except Seibold and Mestrov .

The moral of the story
Not only Seibold and Mestrov are both blinded by the cause of our downfall
They both have no Vision for Solutions

Maybe he's got some dirt on Seibs....who knows.

Froggy usually has been quite effective with that close in , mid field defence , including locking the ball up and general tidying up but as was the case when he was playing in the halves , really struggles with lateral defence in more broken play .
Sides have woken up now the best way to unsettle the Manly defence is just to move the ball around and eventually get the mid field defence in particular to then struggle with their lack of general mobility .
And Froggy being a bit limited here also is no exception .
Even any kicking benefit is also a bit limited now with D C E and Brooks essentially doing that
Think that he is still signed for next season so does not look that encouraging for any improvement in the 9 role and he is still one of the main options there .
Think the time has just about come to give Brooks some time there soon , His attack or attacking effectiveness has just seemed to go right off the boil this season .
Could provide a bit of spark there and defence has largely held up or front on defence .
Not unlike of course the likes of Tooves , Hasler , Dunley making a good transition there and Brooks interchanging with Simpkin until some of the younger prospects in the system may come on in the next few seasons.
Based on Walsh coming on quite well which seems to be the case at present and partnering Forgarty next season or even this season with D C E if present trends continue
Or even replacing D C E this season if things get even more pair shaped with his all round game

It seems to be conventional wisdom on here that “Croker may not be here next year”.

Can someone please fill me in on why this is? I haven’t heard any rumours about this, I’m aware he wants to play on and there is no process underway for medical retirement.

Is there any substance to this conventional wisdom? It seems like nothing more than a collective wishful thinking to me?

Someone on here said a mate of Lachlan Croker had told him at the last game of the year that retirement due to concussion would be happening before next year. (can’t remember who posted)

I have just done a search and it was @Mals who said he spoke to a mate of Croker's on the hill at Friday's game and "he said it will be announced soon he will be retiring due to concussion."
