S'funny how Suli has a hamstring twinge in the pre-game warm up but St G are allowed to replace him, no penalty, full bench complement etc (and rightly so)....

Yet in game, not only did the ref allow play to go on when Toff was on the ground, and Garrick was lying prone on the ground near the action - resulting in a try, but

Tent injured
Waddell injured
Reuben injured - one crusher tackle and 2 hia's (I think)

and yet......

18th man not allowed to be activated.

Duty of care is number one in industrial law why doesn't NRL follow the same laws?

And when is the NRL going to protect the players bringing the ball back from the kick-off. Twice Browny got hit with shoulder charges, no use of arms at all.....and there's nothing from ref or bunker

When you witness the refereeing performances that we've had this year it's hard not to be in the tin foil hat brigade and shout bias , deliberately trying to cause us to lose. It's been an absolute disgrace nearly all season

yeah, this ref let a lot go, it's as if he was cought up in the gladitorial aspect of the game and the big crowd aatmosphere. Really puzzling, not much happening in the bunker too. Watching the game it was as if we were back in the 80's again. Bit sureal, but really engrossing, that we took everything they threw at us in the first half and then gave it back to them in the 2nd half.

Haven’t seen DCE cop a shot like that for a long time, I think it may of been the moment that fired him up, it was good see his body language in the second half, had captain written all over it, seems strange, but I think his body language was notably different yesterday, shame our rep boys will miss this weekend, they all had good games, rather them playing for us than their respective states.
