Manly forward Jake Trbojevic has been all but ruled out of this year's Ampol State of Origin series after suffering a torn calf in his side's Round 12 win against the Raiders on Sunday.

The club confirmed on Tuesday the 2022 Blues representative is expected to be out for up to six weeks which will likely see the Sea Eagles forward miss the entire Origin campaign.

Great chance for some new blood to step up!
I have no idea what you are talking about but other than that, yeah, it is a great chance for some new blood to step up. I hope that Jake has a great first game for Manly.

Going to be a tough one today, hopefully we play with some grit and get the W
Perfect set up, Manly raging underdogs yet in great form. Sure we've lost a couple of Urbos and DCE from last week's side, but gained Kaeo, Sippers and a couple of back-up halves.
Knights are a solid mid-quality roster and at home and close to full strength, so it will be fantastic to watch Manly ruin their afternoon.
Danger men: Hastings and that other guy
Our MOMs: Paseka, Keppie, Schu, Koula, Croker and ... Kaeo!
Go Manly!

Would expect quite a few things would have to go right for Manly to get the job done today but still not a bad line up to give them a decent shot . Much will probably depend on the defence holding up and especially Cooper Johns and Keppie now that he has been switched to the 13 role .and without D C E , somehow to manage a sufficient kicking game Good move bringing Arthur straight into the main squad as could cover both halves and 13 role Lawton can be so so at 13 or the backrow but still handy if needed there . Shu will not have Turbo menacing the edges but still quite a bit to work with and more so trying to engage Weekes as i am sure the Knights will try to do with Ponga . Definitely in with a good chance , fair bit at stake for both sides , naturally a very pivotal game for Manly . Hope that they can pull it off

Have a good feeling the lads will have a real dig today, plenty to play for, a few individuals with personal opportunities, good confidence coming off last weekend, we can climb back into the 8, knights in a bit of a slump, won’t be one bit surprised if we get it done.

Halfback and Fullback ... that's all that stands between us and Glory ... rip in lads

We may well be seeing our future post-DCE with Weekes, Arffur and the Shooey being 3 members of our spine ...

Special wishes to Weekes for a bounce-back statement game ... don't die wondering son .. rip in .

Congrats and welcome to Arffur ... saved from the clutches of the pond scum .. stake a claim lad ..

and the stage is set for the Shooey to etch his name in Sea Eagles folklore ... have a look son ...

Manly by 10 ...

John's just has to catch and pass today. Will Shoe play both sides of the ruck?

Weekes needs to show that he's a first grade talent. He hasn't yet in enough opportunities. I see a kid like Bula come in and look like a genuine first grader within his first 3 games. Weekes hasn't yet.

We need to grind this one out if we are to be a chance. If we try and win it with flair it'll be a disaster. Play a simple game and let the Knights bury them selves. They are more than capable of that.

I have zero expectations on this one. GO MANLY!!
