Killa Kan't Katch

Wolfy couldn't catch either and we won one and should have been two premierships.

Wolfman wasn't up to the high standards set by Snake, Robbo and Will Hoppa but he was much more competant than Taufua or Uate! He just got unlucky to be marking Toupu in the GF.

Our incompetence across the board defensively has probably extended Jorge's career! The rest of the teams finally woke up and took full advantage of his issues at the end of 2014 but since then they haven't needed to put any thought into scoring points against us.

He'll improve with game time, some have been explainable such as Beale bumping him away from it and jt's floating bomb

Catching- 4/10
Defence- 9/10
Attack- 7/10 (power running, little bit cautious with a untrustworthy centre partner next to him, with a quality centre could be brilliant in attack)

Liking the look of Uate atm, time will tell and catching needs to improve but promising signing

Sorry but Uate is garbage. He was playing for a team that won 1 game all season and they didn't feel the need to bring his 'Power running' or 'brilliant attack' or '9/10 defense' into their top grade team, and he will be deleterious to ours.

I predict this will be the dud of the season and he'll be in SL or retirement next season.

Can't remember anyone we've "turned around" in the past five years.

I like the concept, good guy loses his way, undervalued he comes to Manly with something to prove and shoots the lights out.

Just can't remember it happening in the last two coaches time.

Understand your opinion but mine will stay, some may not believe in him but lets at least give a chance, no point in writing him off just yet

Seeing him totally bewildered under that high ball in the all stars was enough for me. But time will tell, maybe I'll be eating my words.
The first bomb he dropped should have earned his team a penalty as he was taken out by an attacker before he'd received the ball.
Granted, he dropped the second bomb.
But even Steve Smith drops catches occasionally!
I was reasonably impressed with Uate. I'd give him a pass mark on that performance. He doesn't seem to be able to break tackles like he did when he became Newcastle's greatest try scorer, but his defence was sound.
As other posters have asked: Where is Parker? I think he deserves a crack at the first grade position when he is available.
