Keppie - Mixed bag

First Grader
This bloke put in the best shots of the game vs NZ, directly causing 2 turnovers and multiple times stopped some big men in their tracks with what you would have to call - textbook head on tackling....
On the flip side, he directly allowed their first try and a couple more half breaks as is either a tad lazy on the slide to close the gate defensively, or maybe misses his mark due to a bad read now and then.
Thing is, he is potentially a solid NRL player not on huge coin that provides great backbone in the middle...just needs to improve a few area's in his game which may well be addressed by Des in relation to this area at training this week.
I like Keppie, but needs to stay mobile defensively and not expect every player is going to run straight at him.

Seriously one of the best young forwards in the game. Yeah he does make the odd blunder and miss those lateral tackles. But he more than makes up for it with big plays as he did yesterday.
I mean I like Keppie, lots of promise and doing a good job but certainly not one of the best young forwards in the game

Tino, Haas and D Fifita all a year younger, Radley and Cam Murray only a year older
