Manly captain Ben Kennedy was livid at his side's error rate and poor discipline. Tries were squandered. Penalties were conceded. One pass that could have given winger Michael Robertson a try almost ended up in the top tier of the grandstand.

Travis Burns made referee Shayne Hayne blow his whistle at the worst possible time. Matt Orford missed a crucial conversion he would normally land blindfolded.

Tis a game we should have won and at least Kennedy will remind them of this.

Reminds me of a quote made of Andrew Johns by Danny Buderus in the paper last Friday -

... he helps deliver the right culture ... that mediocrity will not be tolerated!!!

thats the one positive to come out of the game, two years ago they wopuld have been patted on the back with a ell done for getting so close to a champion team like saints.

Well the BK factor , now well doucumented< has brought a smile to my face.
