How much time are you serving Guzzler and what are you in for?

3 years, got done for joining Silvertails

Lol, c'mon, that was pretty funny!

(although you may struggle to get time off for good behaviour! :p

Regarding Barba, If I may be so bold, people of silvertails.....

If I were a bulldog fan, I'm not sure I'd be too worried about his possible leaving.

Very good in attack, obv, but straighter defensive lines can and do blunt this. However in defense he is terrible. Near the line he is a real speed bump and just will not put his body on the line in the desperation stakes.

In no particular order... Snake, inglis, slater, dugan, mini, and probably some others would be rated higher than him.

Even if there's only 4 rated higher, that means he's not even in the top 25% of nrl fullbacks!

Maybe others rate him higher, I dunno.

Anyway, I hear Des is going to put T-rex in as fullback so the dog's will be sweet!

Any team would be better off without Barba, what a little turd he is.

The team that would deserve a guy like him however is the Bronco's.

I don't understand why Barba is being bagged for going on and answering the question honestly ? A lot complain about the cliche interviews players give these days so it was nice to hear the truth rather than "I'm just concentrating on the remaining games and will take care of that stuff later" etc

Meh most decent long serving Canterbury fans knew this was coming, Just the younger generation of fans have wood for him, He can piss off now for all I care.

Great attaching flare, great vision but a weak individual.

You call it Karma but its just life, footy and what not.

Thought you would put this in the LOL Bulldogs super thread you have going.

Without Barba last year you were no where near good enough to get to the grandfinal and without him next year you're in the same position.

I used to have great attaching flair.... Then I linked the wrong page, had an affair with the wrong server and then hit the wife of an IT specialist from that company... It all kinda went downhill from there, and the IT dude turned out to be really big!!, but after two weeks of rehab everything was just peaches again!!!

Ya lost me.

I'm used to your style of posts (every forum needs them) but I can only see one post possibly about bagging him out about his answer.

I too thought it was refreshingly honest (esp in sporting circles) - remember Hird's constant denials about going to coach essendon?

But I just cant see the 'honest answer' bagging.

Now teabagging on the other hand.....

It's going off worse than this place when des left. Lol

Just had a good look over there this morning - talk about a blood bath, I just hope Barba gets back on the field ASAP, it will be like a circus with all the doggy fans giving it to him.

I'd much rather Manly plays Canterbury without Barba then when he is in their team. For all the maroon-and-white bravado (of which I am lound and proud) there is no doubt this guy is a supremely gifted attacking player. I thought he was just luckly for a long time, but he continually burned off players, broke tackles and popped up when opportunities loomed. He can't tackle, but he can attack.
He will be a huge loss to the Dogs. Pity he's going to Brisbane; they don't need any more help. Channel Nein already ensures they have a massive advantage over every other club.

Hearing they are going to try and get Sam Tomkins

The warriors will be pissed if that happens as they expect to sign Tomkins.

More likely that the dogs will go after Ferguson and put either Inu or Morris at full back.

Fair enough, there are a few that maybe I could have read into a different way, speaking of non truths etc

Onto Tomkins, sounds like he is signed and sealed with the Warriors

Like so many very good players he has been on the edge so far as stable well being. He has been one of the most exciting players on his day. I think his defence has been pretty amazing at times. The tries he has saved. Our game would be better, more exciting if more players like Ben Barba. That said I dislike the Dogs and hope he causes all sorts of problems with stability with in the Club.

The all knowing Mr Invisble has many wonderful posts this is a section of one of my favourites quote:
" Here's an analogy for you. If you fan your farts enough, eventually someone will smell them.

Now apply that to the whole Barba saga.

He hasn't fronted the media (visually or orally) and made ANY insinuations about leaving the club. Last we heard from him he was happy at the Bulldogs.

Courier Mail (QLD papers) are flogging this one hard, almost as if they want to convince Benny to move away from the Bulldogs. Ask yourself why that might be?

If you think the papers don't make things up, watch Mediawatch and you'll be blown away about the amount of fabricated things the media actually do.

I'm confident he isn't going. His ex partner made a Twitter joke when this all first started saying "So I hear you're going to France". That says a LOT.

She hasn't fronted the media, Barba hasn't fronted the media. Bulldogs see no reason to release a press statement, and Hasler inferrs that he has not asked for a release in spoken media." unquote

Wrong again knob.

They are vile disgusting creatures over there. One of them referred to Barba as a black ---- and I saw another that is foul and called his former partner a whore.

As for Mr I, I wouldn't give that compulsive liar the time of day. Does anyone know if Brett has been named in the Catalan Dragons side this week ;)

ROFL

You can ROFL all you like but we can and do exist.

It's a Manly forum and I am here as a guest, happy to talk footy and let you lot do all the bagging of the team I support, It's absolutely no skin off my nose.

It's "Whose shout?"

much of what you say is true, however the disharmony he brings to the team almost negates any of the benefits these days

They are really going off aren't they. Here is a snippet of one fan's questions:

"but why do we always seem to loose our marquee players while other clubs seem to be able to keep there's....... Sonny Bill (took off), Mason (walked out), Hannant (released on family grounds), Idris (left on family grounds) now Barba wants to leave using the family (or family friends) card " courtesy of the Kennel's no1bulldog.

Do we then have to ask ourselves is the Bulldog culture bred or bought? I t seems according to "no1bulldog" that they cannot breed a winning culture over there.

Maybe it can be summed up no-one wants to be a dog. I'd sooner be an eagle.

They've even brought up Jonathon Thurston's alleged drink driving charge in Brisbane. What that has to do with this matter escapes me.

Even their related threads about it are contradictory "Hasler denies Barba has sought release from Dogs" and just beneath it, "Is it official that Barba has asked for a release?"

I'll not be revisiting their website anymore it seems a very dark website with a lot of scantily-clad women.

Lol I take it you missed his interview on Sterlo last night ?

Lol Dogs fans whinging about players, Barba and SBW, breaking contracts and leaving mid way through.

See if they whinge about Hayne when they sign him with 2 years to run at Parra.

I am at the stage where I get as much enjoyment out of a Dogs loss as I do a Manly win. Honestly if Manly went broke and never played another game I would keep interest in the game by death riding this scum each week.
