No i think the opposite, The Roosters will be a very hard game for us to win even without JWH and Pearce. It doesn't hurt that they will be out though.

We copped the injuries earlier in the season and it hammered us, now the Rorters and Cowpokes have that to deal with. It makes the final series a really open one and an opportunity for clubs in the lower half of the 8 to have a real go. JWH is a massive loss for the chooks as is Morgan for the Cowgirls. If the Vermin lose GI they are toast for this year as well.

I think the roosters are probably regretting the retirement of Shame Hayne more than any other player from their recent roster.. He just contributed so much to their 2013 premiership campaign. I don't think it's too long a bow to draw, when suggesting that without his stellar contribution they'd have finished second rather than as premiers that year..
