Thanks HM
I shall record

*thanks to you too @globaleagle
Just not quite as much but not far off.
Right I'll be off then...

lol. I went to bed, sorry. But HM to the rescue!
As a dirty overseas type human, I pay for watch nrl, and all games, plus a few lower grades are on there live and er.. not live (it's early)

Watched replay

The most obvious thing was the sheer size of our forwards. Plenty of skill too.

Some observations

Croker looks bigger. Lovely passing and short kicking game. Not so sure about longer kicking game.
Docker Clay is first grade standard. Great organiser and tough.
Paseka - jury out on him. No real aggression and slow play the balls. No way I’d have him in first grade right now.
Okalautu probably needed more involvement but he’s got skill and hits the line like a steam train. Screams potential.
Smith , young Penrith centre looked very likely before head knock.
Miski is a first grader next year. And a good one. Great backup to Jorge and Garrick. Mansour clone.
Tanginoa class above reserve grade on edges. Back to first grade.
Anderson has speed and X factor - only issue for me is involvement.
Saunders just goes and goes.
Boyle needs time with shoulder but he’s a first grader.
Couple of lesser names that impressed were Kurt De Luis and the young hooker Ott. De Luis has some real finesse with his passing game and wants the ball. I know the coach loves him.Ott has lovely pass and seems to have time.

They’ll win a lot of games now players are back.

Agree they are the land of the giants. Paseka to me looks a little like TREX. Can really turn it on sometimes but not on a consistent basis. Not sure what the fuss about Anderson is he doesn’t look anything special to me. I would like to see Croker get 4-5 games in Reggie’s, by then he will be placing real pressure on LG.

Thank you .... happy days 2 weeks in a row ...

PSS ... although there is a cost ... playing havoc with my Granpa naps ......

lol, I just fell asleep watching the replay of last weeks game.

Must be the cozy sun of this current 16 degree heatwave!

Agree in the main. De Luis looks a footballer and a goer. Boyle didn't stand out for mine though early days - I think I read he needs to bend the line more even from GC days. Anderson has heaps of zip but man he makes Bevan French look solid. Needs to add 10kg. Also great to watch Kelepi ball playing - he enjoyed himself running hard and terrorising with his defence. Was a good game to watch !

Anderson has bulked up from last year but still seems slight.
Kelepi looked awesome, looked so much fitter and mobile than last year.
Played like he's got a point to prove, he was used as a prop rotation last year but on the edge he looks the goods, especially liked his offload before the line on Saturday, gave
the guys outside that bit more room foe Miski to go over untouched.
If he can cover front and second row equally that's a bonus.

They owned the game from the opening whistle.
The pack was far superior and all the pre game hype was about the Rabbits pack.
Tanginoa played great and was the best forward on the ground, as did big young backrower Haumole who hit hard and made damaging runs.
Perrett got the usual offloads, but seems to be ambling up with the ball.
Croker played well...a good honest performance where his 1 on 1 defence was outstanding.
Docker Clay wasn't mentioned too much, but I felt he was the dominant player on the field...setting up most prominent attacking raids and was a great leader all day....can play 6, 7 or 9 competently.
Jade Anderson was dangerous and supported well all day.
The winger Smalley was enthusiastic and hard to handle, but the standout on the field to me was the other winger Miski....scored a couple and had a fair try disallowed, very fast - running 80m untouched and all day blew up the ruck to set momentum, with early carries in ugly situations.
If Des picked him down the track, would feel confident he would handle the step up.
The new centre Smith from Penrith was a tall timber who runs well and made some top tackles before coming off after a head clash - Impressive debut.
Baldy Saunders seems a bit of a cult hero and was rewarded with a barnstorming try 2nd half from close range.
Boyle made some good runs but would like to see more aggression....maybe just getting match fitness up after a layoff....good post contact metres as 1 would expect from a monster of this size.
Paseka made a few dents with his carries also, but seemed missing at points and like Boyle...a few angry pills would be handy.
Great win against an undefeated side and based on that effort, if they maintain the nucleus of that side, will be contenders in 2019.
I watched the game and your summary and thoughts are 100%
I also thought Docker Clay was outstanding as was the winger Miski

i think we have a huge amount of players who are potential first grade material. For me, anderson, miski and dockar clay are standouts in reserve grade, with the latter to being elevated to the top 30 next year. Dockar clay could prove useful down the track due to his ability to cover five eighth, and if api ends up leaving in a year or two if it comes down to api v fainu, dockar clay could prove very handy.
for me, id let walker go and sign a gun like gutho or hoppa, and then sign a flyer such as gela mosby. We have enough depth and potential stars (e.g. hoppa) to fill any other positions, with garrick and suli being quality first grade material already. titmuss, boyle and croker should also be in the top 30, retain cust.

Dockar Clay is absolutely a special for our bench utility spot in the future and then the rest is up to him. Very energetic skillful young footballer.
