Instead of naming Scumterbery as 'Bulldogs' which infers toughness, just keep refering to them as there as original name which was 'the Berries'.
And if you must make shirts, signs :
"Bulldogs" because Berries wasn't MANLY enough!

To me Berries seem soft. See how long it takes to piss them off 😀

Seagulls was a name the journos gave us in the sixties, we were always the sea eagles, but if you say it quick enough it got distorted to seagles, which became seagulls.
In those days teams were always referred by their actual name and not emblem, so it was no big deal for us to be called seagulls.
