In the news recently because an untouchable got.... touched and predictably some in the media cried foul (fowl - bloody chooks).
SO Latrell gets 4 weeks:
Gus whines
Bennett whines
Latrell's manager (lol) whines
V'landy whines
buzz whines
etc....
cleary whines about his player getting off.
"We'll all be rooned, said Hanrahan...."
Obviously trying to direct the narrative away from the repeat offender loadings.
ANYWAY
Here's Annesley's response:
NRL head of football Graham Annesley has responded to claims of judiciary inconsistency by explaining how prior offences greatly contributed to Latrell Mitchell's controversial four-match suspension.
"The only reason that it's four matches is because Latrell had two prior [non-similar] offences in the last two years. The system is designed to take harsher action against players with poor records.
"If he hadn't had those prior offences, he could've got out of that with two weeks. It's not necessarily the system that has given the four-week outcome - it's the prior offences that have compounded the initial penalty."
Now - obviously he thought people like gus, big bennett and little bennett , buzz, etc would have known this, and now that he's taken the time to explain this, everyone in the world knows (bar some souffs supporters who struggle with most daily concepts).
