Judiciary: Marty Taupau looking at a week for that high tackle on Jack Bird #NRL
Judiciary: Brenton Lawrence also facing a week out due to dangerous contact #NRL Each could have just escaped a ban with an early plea but Taupau (loading) and Lawrence (carry overs) poor record hurts them #NRL
I sign recall Lawrence being put in report?
Don't recall any Lawrence incident?
Rd 2 Napa on Leilua - no weeks missed with Guilty Plea WTF did BJ do???
Sure they don't mean Chris Lawrence?
pleasantly surprised that Marty is only facing a week, wtf did BJ do though?
According to the NRL article BJ was sighted for dangerous contact on Ennis in the 24th minute... Did they make that up, I don't remember it at all?
I'm watching the replay and there is nothing around 24 mins - we had the ball and running up the field 23:22 there is the usual Ennis dive, no footage on Fox of the actual incident as Ennis is on his own writhing in birth pains - no penalty given, no stoppage of play
maybe he Benji bitch slapped him
Don’t forget Marty said sorry to Jack Bird on Twitter last night as well lol
Tele is saying one week. Cop that move on.
How could BJ have carry-over points? He hardly played last year. Was it from a NSW Cup match?
This BJ charge has me confused
Trial against Sharks : Manly prop Brenton Lawrence was also charged with grade-one dangerous contact over a crusher tackle on Cronulla's Matt Prior in Sunday night's 24-24 draw at Shark Park but will escape suspension with an early guilty plea.
It wasn't televised, 23:22 he is just seen on the ground - total diving Diva
I am sure BJ could get off if he fought it, and I think he will. If he doesn't get off, and both him and Marty are off for a week, then Leary or Buhrer should come into the side for Taupau and Lussick needs to replace Lawrence. Man I missed having decent forward depth.
Last night the refs basically went through the whole list of possible infringements to try and apply as many as possible to as many of our players as possible, it was beyond farcical
Ennis is a known diver. Soccer is his sport.
