you have to follow the lead, glenns involvement is this..... tried to break up a fight, got sin binned, was walking off, got abused by a big bully, stuck up for himself, threw a few punches, and then the rest of the team tackled blair, in which glenn stopped throwing punches.

the whole fight and crash tackling blair was wrong, but glenn stopped swinging, you cant get more then 3 weeks for that.... not glenns fault the team came charging in. 🙂 blame everyone else that is not there!! just make sure you have aquiet beer with them afterwards, and thank them

You don't know that. Blair already had two weeks, plus a huge amount of carry-over points.

A casual observer might ask what were our Club officials doing straight after the brawl on Friday night. They should've been ringing Bellew as it happened. Hopeless.

Would've got 4 or 5 as he threw first punch, but that might be offset a bit as he shouldn't have been sent to the sin bin in the first place.

We can only hope that they take that into consideration.

Adjournment for Gifty to tomorrow night could be good. Let's hope common sense prevails & he gets treated fair. Having it separated from Blair's hearing could help.

The whole thing is wrong. The fight is being condemned as bad for the look of the game and that parents will get their kids playing AFL. A big reason more people would be playing AFL is the multitude of games on free to air TV as well as things like the Auskick program in schools. For $40 they get a mini AFL ball, cap, bag etc as well as 6 weeks of skills training. What do the NRL do to promote junior league? They can blame the brawl for this and say it was not a good look but the biggest problem is Gallop and his team of incompetent puppets. Now THEY are a BAD look.
