Well there is the answer to Parker being injured but not on the NRL injured list - he is still part of NYC.

I would like to see both Bainbridge and Parker playing NSW cup a fair bit just to get used to the bigger lads but I guess its a balancing the books thing as well with salary cap.

That was a shock, the Matthews Cup side being walloped. I thought they were going to be big hitters this year. Good to see SG Ball get a win.

yeh where is ben trbojevic? did he get injured or something. Also what happened to young chee kam, he was injured than returned for one game and hasn't played for 2 games since returning.

Have you ever heard a name that is more destined for glory than Bradman Best, the Newcastle fullback who scored four tries.

Interesting that Zorba mentioned on the radio this morning that Manly and the Roosters are chasing this kid very hard. I only caught the back end of it but also mentioned his father (I believe) had played for Manly.

I vaguely remember a R Best playing for Manly in President's Cup, I think he was a backrower. I wonder if he is the dad.

I think you're spot on mate, I only caught it in passing but I thought Zorba mentioned Richard (maybe!).

1992, he played in the President's Cup, teammates were D Gartner, N Kosef, DMoore, G Ngamu, C Ryan, J Elsegood, J Hopate, C Ryan & S Fulton. Seems like a pretty good squad. Actually have some of these games on hard drive.
