Seems like a nice guy off the field but a grub on it and overrated player.

How he ended up with a contract of around $800k from the tigers when the dogs were getting rid of him on $450k is beyond me. Why pay almost double for a player barely worth the $450k he was on? Those numbers are approximate and based on figures I remember at the time.

He is full of energy but that’s it. Plays like a scatter brain on the field and doesn’t play with any direction.

I’d be horrified if we threw him in at 5/8.

He’d be worth a bench utility role for some club on $400k. Just not us.

He won the jackpot with that tigers deal and is why he’s still laughing all the way to the bank.

Haven’t forgiven him for that staged spear tackle dive he performed on glen stewarts liftting awarding them a penalty that won them the game.No thanks.

His enthusiasm is up with the best and definitely can lift the tempo of his team....would like to hear what the options are on how much he would cost ect....as at the right or wrong price, I would base an opinion

Agree, having him and retaining thommo. If we could pull that **** off by offliading elgey and walker it would be a nice outcome. He isnt anything special as a 6 but he attacks the line and makes stuff happen anyway through doggedness.

Love him and thommo our there with jakey. Oh the hate would come back

He is just a smaller jurbo really, he would have no problem leading a team about either, i reckon he craves it.

Ive posted previosly how much id like him at manly. . We need this. Currently we have the most expensive half in the game, who rarely manages the game and looks to have no real desire to. So we have all these bucks and squad picks tied up in band aid fixes with, hodko, elgey, croker, cust and we still talk of moving walker, or api to help out.

But we have to retain too gun hookers to get any attack , despite all of this investment.

Its madness.

And it's a no from me. He's enthusiastic on the field, sure, but he's not particularly good at anything a footballer should be good at, so I can't really see the point.

Cust at 20 years of age has shown in only handful of NRL appearances that he can set up tries , score them himself , has a good kicking game and for most of his appearances his defence has been sound . The potential is there !

We have seen a few teething problems but.............

I see plenty of bite in this young man

Josh Reynolds is overrated. His energy disguises how bad of a player he can be at times imo

I find it strange everyone is panicking with cust at the moment

100%......What message does it send these 3 young ones if we start signing guys like Reynolds ?
We don't believe you have any chance being an NRL player at Manly so we're going to sign an injury prone 30 year old.

It's a massive NO from me.
