Josh Aloiai

There is absolutely no one on the market right now. We are screwed in this regard. Unless someone has a spat with their club, the dominos won't fall, unlike the halves market.

The old plodders right now look better than no one at all...

Also, big thanks to our "junior development" for developing a grand total of zero props in recent years.

Terrible if true. These guys get well paid but absolutely destroy their bodies.

Hope he can pull through but also got to look after your long term health.

For us, if true, further allows us to retool our pack.

Josh Turns 30 this year
30 is the magic number where most players are on the way out in this brutal game
The hard training and the hard hits take their toll
Josh tried hard but never lived up to his enforcer potential
There is a good life after footy and we wish him and his family a happy and healthy future

Mid year player swaps never happen with players who are "on the market". I'm sure some managers will be offering their fringe first grade props to us in the next couple of weeks.

The Dogs might be a little desperate to fit in Galvin, maybe Hopoi or Todd or Underhill might be an option....

If the Galvin/Dogs deal didn't break a few NRL rules........smh is it any wonder there are secrecy clauses?? And if I was a betting man my fingers would be pointing directly at Gus and Isaac Moses if truth be told.

According to Zero Tackle we have these players off contract at the end of the year ( I believe some have or are being renewed)
Ethan Bullamor
Jaz Tevaga
Sio Sia Taukeiaho
Tommy Talau
Clayton Faulalo
Toff Sipley
Ray Vaega
Gordon C K T
Jake Arthur
Aaron Schoupp
Dean Matterson,
and now maybe The Preacher getting put out to pasture

I would like to think 3 of the first 6 get at least another year, and the other 3 2 or 3 more years

30? I get what Ur saying. Just differ on that retired number by a few. Most forwards are skinny little runts and no chance of holding down a starting spot until they hit 27-28. Always exceptions to the rule.
