Jayden sullivan

I seriously can’t believe he is on $900k a season and people think we pay DCE too much. If Sullivan is worth $900k, DCE is a bargain

The amount of misinformation out here is unbelievable
He signed a 2.4 mill deal over 4 years. 600k per year.
That is nowhere near 900k a year.

He is worth as much as Brooks on 600k per year
Markee Halves are on the 900k plus a year mark
At the Dragons Flanaghan favoured his son Kyle
At the Tigers he was out of favour with Benji
He could be someone else's flavour who gets the best of his potential

Agree @BOZO

I am not saying we should pick him up but he was actually pretty good with limited opportunities at dragqueens (injuries?)... did not set the world on fire at tigpoes but may just be a combo of trying too hard and playing in a sh*t team... I do realise Galvin has managed to succeed but he looks a generational talent to my eyes...

Sullivan will be a handy pickup for a Super League team I reckon and hopefully the kid plays himself into some form and finds a pathway back to the NRL...

Bit harsh @XV-1

You say 600, they said 900 - which is not THAT different...

2 of the 3 numbers are actually correct 😂

LOL. u taking the piss now.

Even the Tigers would never have been stupid enuf to pay 900k per season.

He is refusing to leave atm as no team even wants to pay him 300k with the Tigers chipped in 300k. 🤣

Sullivan does have potential and will be a Handy pick up for the coach that can lift him

Just like Weekes who was on a minimum contract with us was a Handy Pick up for Ricky Stuart who was able to get the best out of his Potential
Under Seibold Weekes was performing under expectations
Weekes has been a Revelation at the Raiders

Apparently he has done a medical with the vermin... puts Humphries at about option number 37 for the halves...

Surely, if the vermin sign Sullivan, Uncle Wayne is looking at JH as a back-up hooker?

I think Humphries was always back up to Mamazoulous with the option of backing up Dodd.

Will be interesting to see if Wayne can get a tune out of Bud.

Funny old game, I remember watching a Saints V Manly Under 20s game and it was basically Sullivan V Schuster...both sublime just going should for shot....and here we are, both at a crossroads.

Souths recruitment is terrible.

Not only have they replaced Manly in getting the Tigers dregs, but they are also getting Manly's dregs!

Bennett is going to have to be at his coaching best.

If Cam Murray wasn't there , I'd put some $$$$ on them getting the spoon
Though I don't mind young Tallis Duncan if he wants to play 13 at Manly
I think they have too much talent to come last. Latrell can win games by himself. They then have Wighton, Campbell Graham, Koloamatangi, Murray who are all origin level players.

Then of course Bennett.

Would anyone say Man has recruited better?
That all depends on your expectations. We already have our marquee players locked in, so we were never going to sign any guns. The only teams that add big new players each year are down the bottom of the table. Our squad is relatively settled and Seibold has been strategically adding to it bit by bit over the last couple of years to increase our NRL quality depth.

Agree with it or not, on the surface it looks like we’ve re-signed every player we’ve wanted to and got some real value out of our pickups in recent seasons.
