Jamil on news

Thanks HM. Hope he's more like Will than Jamil.

I haven't seen him personally, but the DY coffee club Oldies all say that Will is good, this SG Ball guy is better :exclamation:

I guess Jamil got the attitude and is wasting his talent till its too late.
From memory, Parra sacked him for leaving camp - not smart:s

I know all the Hoppas personally for a long time and this is sad what has happened to Jamil and I hope everything works out. But he has Not be found Guilty and there is a lot of Speculation around it all.
A lot of players find themselves in trouble because of Alcohol. What needs drummed into them is Watch the drink or Don't Touch It ! the NRL provide training courses on this and Social Media, which is Compulsory for all NYC Players. Players have to becareful where they go and who they hang around with especially if your Surname is well known as there are Idiots out there who want to cause trouble through Jealousy or whatever and they will go to the media even if your not in the wrong. These players are Elite Athletes now, they look after their bodies during football time, they have all the Specialised Trainers to help provide this but they should be also looking after their bodies after footy time as well, 24/7. This itself needs to be Drummed into them. The NRL Club is now your Employee, its a business and you have to set a good example for them. Your True Mates will understand the Sacrifices you have to make, the ones that just want you to party hard all the time are not worth worrying about. Thinking about you Jamil.

Points well taken and my indication about the consequences of convictions for AOABH and Affray were only made to show what could be faced if he is convicted. If he is determined to be innocent or having had minimal contribution to the incident then the question of penalty is mute. And yes there are d..kheads out there who think that by drawing famed persons into a dispute, it somehow enhances their status. It of course doesnt. It just means they are d..kheads

HM - I stand corrected Bonny (John Jnr) is in our Harold Matthews team not SG Ball playing in the no.3 jersey. Nick Ferris (Jason Ferris' son) is at lock.

They had a good win over the Bunnies last round.

I missed getting there but heard they look a good side with some big boys

CCTV cleared him and he has been really good in the lower grades since coming back.

Seoni Hopoate is in the U16s curtain raiser for SOO 🙂

Was actually there and saw it happen last night. Can just say now that I never want to see Jamil in Manly colours again.
