ABC just reported (apparently) that Lyon has been release by Parra, and that we may be the front runners for his signature!!!

    Here's hoping.

2006 YART coming if that is the case !!!

If we could get Lyon I would offload Randall, Harris and Monaghan.

Oops - two gone, one a maybe!!! Two out of three isn't bad.

He's a specialist centre. I'd keep Witt. Under ORFORDS tutilidge, I would expect him to blossom.

Lyon at 5/8 is the best option.

Doubt that it is true though, don't know where you got the info Ryan.

I would release King in an instant though.

punt steppa, lets face it he has had his good game for next 5 games,

Ash to wing, then someone solid just to stand other side of the ruck to take pressure of the Ox, much like anasta in origen, someone just to feed the ball out to the centres.

Alberts at 5/8 is a bit dodgy IMO. He doesn't really have the passing ability and or kicking ability to play 5/8.

    For mine.........

    1 Stewy
    2 Steppa/Robertson/Meaney/Taylor
    3 Bell
    4 Alberts
    5 Hicks
    6 Lyon
    7 Orford

Now all we would need to do is release King, and pick up Rose and one other 'fringe' front rower to push for spots.

yeah fair point blunty,my only thought was that a lot of good 5/8 are like running forwards and take the line on more than pass.worth a try though at some stageeven if only in a few trial games next season

May as well give it a run this year if we are writing it off.

I highly doubt LYon will be here in '06 anyway.
