I understood us cutting him loose for DCE, but now that’s all changed. The way he played against the Knights that day was pretty impressive. He just played a role and was composed and linked really well with the backline. I don’t think he is a future star but he looks like being a quality 7 at a decent price with a strong kicking game. He would have been perfect in hindsight.

Not to mention a longer career in front of him and superior speed. I will say, Fogerty has him in terms of a kicking game; it's one of the very best in the competition. If you can consistently land those yardage kicks within 5 metres of the opposition try line, you control field position and frustrate the life out of the opposition.

I have zero knowledge , but my version makes sense ( to me ).

I don’t think he needed to urge for a release, I thought his contract was up anyway.

Can’t pin any of the communication on DCE, he is completely irrelevant in how Humprhies was treated

They told him going forward he was going to be a hooker only, he spent the whole off season training there, then with no explanation at all round one they name him to play halfback in NSW Cup, and he was chopped and changed. He said if there was any stability or communication, he wouldn’t have been frustrated, and not inclined to leave

Twice they led him down a path of being a 9 and changed their mind on it, poor leadership
