Jamal Fogarty

Gotta say I thought the Raiders attack was benign and predictable. They had enough ball and field position to have scored 18 points in the first half and came up with 6. I put it down to poor tactics. It looked like they thought they though they would stream roll the Sharks up the middle and when that didn’t happen they found they selves behind and in trouble and couldn’t recover. By the later part of the game last weeks game was taking its toll. I don’t blame Fogarty for that.

Don’t underestimate the impact that losing Strange had on them… that kid has been immense all year - generally calls their attacking plays and competes at a very high intensity with the ball… plus he pops up to beat 4 or 5 players in a solo try every now and then… kid is a star imo

That’s been their tactic all year. They’re actually pretty limited when it comes to strategically breaking down the defence. Most of their points have come from their hard running pack banging down the door. The ruck speed generated by the forwards has broken the defence up enough for opportunities to present themselves.

When the opposition defensive line is on and the forward battle is even (which happens in finals), they struggle to tactically out manoeuvre the opposition. There’s not a lot creativity in their spine. Weekes is just fast, Strange is just fast and powerful with a step and fend, Fog is no frills, and Starling is just fast and energetic.

Let’s be honest; AFB has been the best middle in the game for the better part of 6-7 seasons now. If he was eligible for SOO, he’d be talked about more than Payne Haas. He was out of sight, out of mind in NZ for a few years but he’s always been the best.
I said the same thing after the Easts game. I’d rather have him back than Hass. Both are incredible players.

They just weren't offering nothing in attack, just a lot of crash one out plays at the line all to no avail. You could see the panic on the Canberra fwds faces, like, what do we do now.

I think starling overplayed his hand and tried too many crash plays. The sharks were upto it but he kept trying instead of playing out the back to Fogarty and weekes. The loss of Strange was massive, he killed it this year.

Must say Starling went down a few notches in my estimation when he carried on like some sort of tough guy when he knocked Hazleton out with an accidental head clash. Showed zero concern for the player, just high fiving his teammates like it was some sort of inspirational tough guy play.

The comments from Foran are a little surprising considering he was supposedly in control of the Titans on the field yet they finished equal last with the Knughts. As for Anasta…….zzzzzzzzzzz. Watch him cum in his pants when he fires up about his beloved Bulldogs. Let’s see if he critiques Galvin as much if they lose! FMD I can’t stand that dribbling twat!
You’re ‘braithing’ for a torrent of hyperbolic love.
