Jacob Samoa

This just proves we need to be patient with Bozo's plan, he is the clubs biggest legend and only has the best interests of the club in mind. This was never going to be an instant fix as the club was well and truly a basket case . Onya Bozo, most of us here are very much appreciative of your efforts and the balance will well and truly have pie on their face.

Just had a thought, which has most likely been discussed already... but has Willo got the boot, now that backup ops have moved to Blacktown??

Jake looks to be a solid defender, something Manly will need. He's fair as an attacking player though he does have an offload skill. Good 2nd level replacement player

Very minor. More journeyman than legend methinks.
He pretty much played out his career with us, apart from a few early games at Canberra. Made the move from centre to back row when he slowed down...Played in a premiership winning side...retired on a high note before he slid down the ranks. Better than a journeyman, for mine. Also very good club man - popular, supportive, loyal.

Forgot to mention - rubbish coach...

Wonder what his international allegiance might be though...I mean, we can't have too much ambiguity in the club.
Hahaha ironically he plays for the island of Niue,we now have a bout 5 reps from there,we own most of their team.Just in case you didn't know it is east of Tonga......

Makes sense I guess...I mean, Willie Tonga was born in Woden...(yep, I'm procrastinating again).

Sam Moa is from Tonga I believe. Do any players with "place" names come from that place? I don't think so:

Bevan French
Mark Mexico
Brett Dallas
Chris Houston
Kevin Junee
Mike Eden

Hey, you've done well. I sat at my desk for ten minutes trying to think of some more of those this morning!

The Greenburg one is my favourite @:D

I am sold on Blacktown. They will be more then competitive. They have depth, experienced Q cup and NSW cup players backing up some very nice manly signings. The list is becoming impressive.
A little bit of info today too,NSWRL officially rubber stamped Blacktowns application to join the Intrust cup,so looks like before today had not been confirmed but now it is.Maybe another signing or two on the way or maybe that is hoping for too much......
