Jacob Loko the prop?

Speaking of young talent ... has anybody seen Haumole Olakau'atu during the trials?

Has he had a run?

Its a great position the club is in to have such talent within. Its very exciting to see how it pans out!
I agree with Schuster at back row. This could be a little blessing in disguise here. Having him playing a pivot roll now will sharpen some skills he already has. We all know he isn't a 6 but having a back rower with ball playing ability adds another dimension in attack
Agreed, if that is the plan. I’m just not sure about Fulton as a coach.

This is just my opinion, but I think Fulton wanted to be coach of the Ball side because of the young talent moving up from last years Matthews side(thinking he would have another successful year as coach). The problem that he and the club have not addressed is that there is a serious lack of talent in the halves in this years Ball side,Johns signed with Storm,Verrills and the back up half Wilson signed with the Roosters which left us with Terzis the back up 5/8 from last year playing as half in the first 2 weeks and Schuster/Humphries in the first 2 weeks playing 5/8 and now Schuster again this week playing 5/8 with young Rouland from last years Matthews side playing halfback this week. The side is probably better served with Rouland/Terzis as the halves combination and Schuster/Trbojevic in the second row.I just hope that he doesn't railroad young Weekes or Teddy Wilson from the Matthews side up to the Ball side to help bolster his career/reputation this year if the Ball side continues to struggle in the halves.Schuster is probably talented enough to play 5/8 at this level (Ball)but it means the halfback is the kicker/organiser and the problem the side has is similar to when DCE and Walker were the halves combination in the NRL(too easy to predict what each was going to do,although Schuster does have some sweet ball skills)

Yeah completely agree re his issues with ball on the ground..he's a gangly unit and it will always be his Achilles heel, lets face it. If teams start targeting that deficiency successfully a rethink as to where he's best suited will be required. Compare Tom to Tedesco and Slater who are freaks scooping the ball off the deck..literally chalk and cheese. Interesting times ahead!

Tony Williams was never a prop.

I'm pretty sure he was a prop the whole time he was at the Dogs

A prop, formally known as (theatrical) property,[1] is an object used on stage or on screen by actors during a performance or screen production. In practical terms, a prop is considered to be anything movable or portable on a stage or a set, distinct from the actors, scenery, costumes, and electrical equipment. Consumable food items appearing in the production are also considered props.

Article in todays SMH about Loko

Loko-motive' ready to get back on track with Sea Eagles

Jacob Loko made headlines three years ago when he was involved in a drunken brawl with Manly’s Jorge Taufua. Now he has been given an opportunity that could result in him playing alongside him.

After years in the wilderness, Loko will make his long-awaited return with Manly’s feeder club, Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.

It has been five years since the former Parramatta centre played first grade, but Saturday’s Intrust Super Premiership clash against Mounties at Lottoland is the first step towards a potential NRL return.
