By memory, I think they originally wanted a spine of:
1. Garrick
6. Ponga
7. Brooks
9. Hastings

Which is so weird in hindsight.

They wanted that for 2023, and we were in crisis and it looked likely Garrick would leave. Obviously they had to change that when it became apparent that they weren't getting Brooks or Garrick.

Thought he went ok when he was with us tbh. Something went wrong between Hastings and DCE as I recall, after that it was see ya Jackson.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say we made the right call siding with DCE…
