I don’t rate Hethrington at all but if it was a swap deal with Arthur for the rest of the year, it would have helped with our lack of troops in the middle. I just wouldn’t want the club to buy him for a couple of years and believe that he is somehow the answer to our problems because he is a very limited footballer. There’s essentially no nuance in his game. He runs fast and hard over the advantage line and that is it. The work rate is modest, there’s no consistent offload, no footwork, no clever ball playing, makes errors, and is a penalty magnet in defence.

I think he was suspended 7 times in his first 38 games or so.
Must have toned it down in recent years but pretty basic, ability-wise I thought
