Too right it is. My mates son who was bashed on the side of the M1 three years ago, finally got to see the scum sentenced. Only for that to turn into a bad joke. Community service for one, and 20 months inside for the main offender.
My mates son, will never work again. They removed 20% of his brain. He is basically a 32 yr old stroke victim.

thats terrible and a woefully inadequate penalty for what has been done to the victim

While the wheels of justice may take time, JDB was fully paid for his time over the last 3 years. While he wasn't able to play football, not knowing what happened in the apartment that night, and the outcome of the two trials (non verdict as opposed to innocent), we also need to think about the other party from that evening. Have they not also been through the same hell as JDB?

De Belin is a great bloke. He was just having a usual “bun” as his pregnant wife wasn’t drinking with him at the nightclub due to being pregnant. His mate was there and some young girl so what else was he meant to do.


I know he was not found guilty but it doesn’t mean he wasn’t guilty.
Doubt is pretty easy to attain when there are no witnesses.

Maybe yes, maybe not, the truth has not reared it's ugly head...we will never know mate.
